Professional Organizing and Home Furnishing Re-Styling

My name is Patricia Pangier, owner of Organized by Choice.

I have always had a desire to de-clutter and create a tranquil space. In February of 2018 while listening to a Ted Talk the question was asked “If you could do anything you wanted without fear of failure what would it be?” I immediately said outload organizing! At that point I decided to follow my passion.

The first step was to investigate the national associations for organizers. I found a terrific group of people but the process of finding creative ways to organize stuff just didn’t feel right to me. So I decided to keep searching and found the books by Marie Kondo.

As soon as I read the books I knew this is the long term solution I was looking for. I implemented the ideas of the book at my own home and found a great deal of satisfaction in not getting penalized for having too much stuff but rather contentment in the space I had left to display my cherished items. An added bonus was I learned what clothes I like and dislike so I now shop for only things that suit me.

I immediately submitted an application to attend the KonMari certification seminar in NY, NY in April 2018. This application required pictures and descriptions of work competed using the KonMari method. This was the only seminar in the U.S. for 2018. I was thrilled to be accepted. Today I am working to achieve my certification as a KonMari Consultant.

Being a kitchen designer for 10 years, in the construction field for over 13 years and certified in home furnishing design has elevated my ability to utilize space in creative ways. With this experience and talent I have the added excitement to assisted my clients with closet designs and home furnishing re-styling.
